Inhalt: International Rail Industry projects are very much dependent on local regulations and national standards, require a flexible manufacturing approach due to local content integration and have to serve customers ranging from those who specifiy many details to those who order a high speed train on 2 pages.
Project success depends to a high degree of quickly bringing transparency into the initial customer requirements as pronounced in the request for quotation. It is further enhanced by taking requirements into account from all participating stakeholders, including those taken for granted, making sure no potential obstacle is overseen. It is nearly guaranteed if the offer management process allows for timely requirement management achieving a fully transparent and comprehensive requirement listing before the ink on the signed contract has dried up… Such a project can effectively start to fly towards success!
